Entire family loves waking up to the smell of steel cut oats ( add apples and cinnamon) at 6 am, but the fact that I don't have to get up an hour before that is a great bonus for me.It's the right machine for mom, I could put the ingridients in and go on the playground with the kids, by the time we get back the dinner is ready, no worrying about watching it. The machine will do the job, turn it off when needed and will keep it warm for us. It's not just for rice and oatmeal. It does great soups, one-pot dishes, steamed food, and yes, cakes.
